Michigan is reporting 4,024 additional cases of COVID-19 for Thursday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services coronavirus website says the state has had more than 450,000 cases of COVID since the pandemic started. It reported 190 additional deaths for Thursday, 125 of which were identified through a review of vital records. The death total in Michigan is now 11,208. For Thursday, the Berrien County Health Department’s COVID dashboard showed the county with 37 additional cases of COVID over Wednesday, bringing its total since March to 8,065. The county had 5 additional deaths, bringing its total to 146. Berrien County on Thursday had 49 non-ICU hospitalizations and 6 patients in the intensive care unit. Van Buren County reported 28 additional cases for Thursday, making for a pandemic total of 3,559 cases and 65 deaths, an increase of 2.
