Senator Gary Peters celebrated his re-election victory in style by rolling up to a cider mill in Rochester on his Harley. He addressed his supporters, with his staff and family beside him. Peters said one of his top priorities is to pass additional federal funding to address the COVID crisis.
“We know there’s still more help that’s needed,” said Peters. “That will be my top priority. If it doesn’t happen, we’ll try it when we have a Biden administration because we must never forget the people of our country.”
Peters beat his Republican challengers John James by just under 90,000 votes.
