Michigan residents have been getting a break on renewing their vehicles, driver’s licenses and state ID cards due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it’s about to end next week. The Secretary of State says at 7 p.m. on September 30, that extension is over and you can again be pulled over for not having a valid sticker on your license plate. Late fees will also be charged after October 1. If you are still one of those people, make an appointment ASAP if you will need attention at a bureau, or renew and print your vehicle registration tabs at more than 120 self-service stations in the state. You can also simply mail in your renewal.
