A search for a 20-year-old Lansing man continued on Lake Michigan in South Haven Monday. Coast Guard St. Joseph Executive Petty Officer Matthew Binns described the conditions at the time the man went missing around 9 p.m. Sunday.

“The wave conditions were approximately four to six feet,” Binns said.

Binns says multiple coast guard agencies are involved in the search with boats and helicopters. He says another man swept off a pier Sunday night was rescued when someone threw him a life ring.
