Michigan is reporting 612 additional cases of COVID-19 for Friday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the state has had 68,295 cases of the illness since the start of the pandemic. It reported 15 additional deaths for Friday, bringing that total to 6,039. However, the department notes all 15 of those were found through a review of vital records around the state. Berrien County had 14 new cases of COVID-19 to report for the day, making the total 817 with 60 deaths since the start of the pandemic. Cass County had four new cases for Friday, making its total 165 with six deaths. Van Buren County had six new cases for the day, making the county’s total 236 with eight deaths.
