Michigan is reporting 610 additional cases of COVID-19 for Wednesday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the state has had 67,237 cases of the illness since the start of the pandemic. It reported ten additional deaths for Wednesday, bringing that total to 6,015. Berrien County had 14 new cases of COVID-19 to report for the day, making the total 790 with 60 deaths since the start of the pandemic. Cass County had five new cases for Wednesday, making its total 159 with six deaths. Van Buren County had ten new cases for the day, making the county’s total 229 with seven deaths. Statewide, nearly 53,000 patients have recovered from COVID-19. Meanwhile, Governor Gretchen Whitmer is giving another COVID update at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
