It won’t be long before South Haven City Manager Brian Dissette takes on his new role as the Berrien County Administrator. He took part in his final South Haven City Council meeting as manager this week.
“I thanked the council, I thank the staff,” Dissette said. “It’s been truly a pleasure to serve this community, and I told the staff that I started in July of 2006 with no kids, and I’m leaving with three kids, and it’s just been a really enjoyable time.”
Dissette was hired to be South Haven’s assistant city manager in 2006 before taking on the manager job two years later. He’s to start in Berrien County in early July.
