South Haven City Manager Brian Dissette has been in Berrien County this week learning the ropes for his new job as county administrator. During a Thursday meeting of the Berrien County Board of Commissioners, retiring Administrator Bill Wolf said he’s been showing Dissette around. Dissette has met almost every county official.
“Brian Dissette has been introduced to every department heads and either toured or driven by every facility of the county to include every park, and every road department garage,” Wolf said. “In addition to that, he has sat down and spent at least an hour just talking finances.”
Wolf said former Berrien County Coordinator Mike Henry will start next week as the interim administrator. He’ll the hold the wheel while the county waits for Dissette to start in two weeks.
