City halls are reopening in communities around southwest Michigan. South Haven City Hall will reopen on Monday, June 8 with limited lobby hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The city encourages people to call or use online services if possible. Otherwise, appointments can be made by calling. They’ll be taking similar measures to what you have seen in supermarkets, with face coverings, social distancing, floor markings, and protective barriers. In Benton Harbor, City Manager Ellis Mitchell announced this week staff will return to work on Monday. Those who need to do business at city hall should call first to ask about the rules.
