In the midst of this coronavirus pandemic, Ferris State University pharmacy students and faculty are reviewing articles on COVID-19 for medical professionals at Spectrum Health. College of Pharmacy assistant dean, Dr. Thomas Dowling, says this is great experience for them.

“Our students that are helping are the ones that are just about ready to graduate,” says Dowling. “They’re fourth-year seniors and they’re ready to help as much as they can with public health and they’re well prepared to critically review the literature that’s being published and help contribute to the project.”

Dowling says what Spectrum Health wants is to have the latest coronavirus information at their fingertips.
