Lake Michigan College students can now earn a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Generalist degree from Ferris State University without having to leave southwest Michigan. The Board of Trustees at Ferris State has approved the partnerships with LMC and Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and it will take effect with the Fall 2020 semester. FSU has worked with community colleges in such a manner since the late 1980s, and the university’s Extended and International Operations unit worked closely with the administrative teams at both KVCC and LMC to create the new degree programs through the new partnerships.
