Money is being raised now by Michigan State Police and other police and fire fighting agencies in Berrien and Van Buren counties for Special Olympics Michigan. They will hold their annual polar plunge as part of the fundraiser on Saturday. The officers will be jumping into frigid water in Stevensville at Watermark Brewing. As of Thursday afternoon, the Berrien County Polar Plunge had raised nearly $45,000 of its $50,000 goal. The MSP post in Niles is at the top of the leader board.
