The Michigan State Police post in Paw Paw has welcomed two new troopers. State police say Troopers Chad Burnside and Larnell Hill graduated from the 136th Trooper Recruit School on December 20, and were assigned to Paw Paw. After leaving the 25 week recruit school, the two started in Paw Paw on December 26. From there, they were to go through a 17 week training period with a field training officer, after which they would go on solo patrols. Burnside is from Byron Center, while Hill is from Detroit.
