We have an update regarding the car-pedestrian crash on East Napier Avenue in Benton Township on Monday. Police tell WSJM News that the man who was hit while walking on the edge of the road, 52-year-old David Snyder, has died from his injuries. Sndyer died Wednesday at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was airlifted there from Spectrum Health Lakeland with head trauma and a broken leg. Snyder was walking along the fog line in the outer lane when he was struck by an SUV driven by Georgette Lanier. There is no word yet if any charges will be filed, and police say the crash remains under investigation.
