State Representative-elect Pauline Wendzel has received her first committee assignment in the Michigan House. She will serve on the House Committee on Committees for the 2019-2020 legislative term. The Committee on Committees chooses chairs and members of the standing Michigan House committees. Wendzel was just elected to the state House in the 79th District this month. She’s replacing state Representative Kim LaSata, who has moved up to the Michigan Senate. In regards to her commmittee assignment, Wendzel says it’s “truly an honor to have been chosen as one of the few first-term legislators to receive this privilege.”
