The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce has developed a program for students in the South Haven, Bangor and Covert Public school systems called Youth in Business Competition. Individual students have a chance to develop a hypothetical business and present the business plan to the community and win prize money. Chamber Director Kathy Wagaman says taking part is very simple.

“They would simply fill out an application, and those are going to be available at Bangor High School, Covert High School, and South Haven High School,” says Wagaman.

Those applications must be completed by November 30th. There will be seminars and Wagaman says help is available from the Chamber and local businesses. Programs details and materials needed are available at SouthHaven.com/youth-in-business.
