A South Haven area man is in the Berrien County Jail on a home invasion charge after a break-in late Wednesday night in Bainbridge Township. Michigan State Police are still looking for a second suspect. Police were called to a home in the two-thousand block of M-140 just before midnight for a home invasion with shots being fired. The homeowner confronted the two suspects after hearing noises outside, and fired at the two when one pointed a gun at him. The suspects took off, and a state police K-9 was able to track down one just north of the scene. There is no description available of the man who escaped other than he was wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants.
