This will be a packed weekend in downtown St. Joseph as Labor Day arrives and the area sends off the summer. St. Joseph Today Marketing Director Daniele Crevier tells WSJM News the Tri-State Regatta will sail into town on Saturday. There will be hundreds of sail boats.

“They race from Chicago to St. Joe, and then on Sunday they take off and go to Michigan City,” Crevier said.

Crevier tells us the boats will ship off Sunday morning. Also this weekend, Saturday will bring several events along the bluff and around the downtown.

“September antiques will be from 10 to 5 in Lake Bluff Park,” Crevier said. “There’s lots Lake Bluff Park fun happening, and then there’s also some trolley rides, weather permitting, from 11 to 2, and then we’ve got the last two municipal band concerts.”

Those concerts will be at 3:30 Sunday and 7:30 Monday at the Howard Bandshell. You can find the whole weekend schedule at StJoeToday.com.
