Allegiant Air, which flies out of Grand Rapids, is accused in a “60 Minutes” report of having more than 100 serious mechanical incidents in a year and a half. Gerald R. Ford International Airport spokeswoman Tara Hernandez told Michigan News Network Allegiant has been a good partner.

“We will definitely look into it, if there were any issues and work with the FAA is there’s something that proves not safe,” Hernandex said.

Hernandez says Allegiant has been flying out of the Grand Rapids airport since 2009. She says in that time, the airport in Grand Rapids has had no major incidents involving the airline.
