Students at Lakeshore High School will be raising money for suicide prevention tonight with a walk. A student-led group called Be the Voice invites the whole community down to the Lakeshore stadium from 5 to 7 p.m. to raise money for the American Suicide Prevention Foundation. The walk’s organizers just ask for donations from individuals who take part. This is the first such walk Be the Voice has planned, and the group hopes to continue them. Available for tonight’s walk will be concessions, some student speakers, and games for the kids. Everyone is invited to help raise some money for suicide prevention.
