Gas prices in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph have dropped nearly 13¢ in the past week to $2.38 according to Triple-A Michigan’s weekly survey. The statewide average is down a dime at $2.40, with a high of $2.54 in Marquette and a low of $2.30 in the Saginaw-Bay City-Midland region. South Haven’s prices are even lower, with Gas Buddy spotters finding them as low as $2.17 at one station and $2.20 at most others. That city, however, is not part of the auto club’s survey. Michigan’s 10¢ decline in the past week is the fourth-largest in the country.
