With a new school year about to start, the office of Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is reminding everyone of the OK2Say tipline. AG spokesperson Andrea Bitely told WSJM News earlier this year it’s an anonymous way for anyone to report suspicious activity in a school.

“We encourage kids to come forward,” Bitely said. “We encourage parents and educators to head to OK2Say.com and sign up for one of our programs, and kearn more about how we can help to ensure that kids have a happy school day,” Bitely said.

The OK2Say tipline launched in 2015 and has resulted in thousands of tips coming into the state. They include everything from possible threats to bullying. Just this June and July, the tip line received more than 400 tips. It can be reached via text to OK2SAY.
