It’s now down to the final two in state Senator John Proos’ Southwest Michigan Spirit Tournament. Each year, Proos asks schools across his district to send him photos showing how they are filled with pride. Proos then pits the different schools up against each other in a bracket-style tournament. The Final Four battles this year were between Watervliet, and Michigan Lutheran and Marcellus and Centreville. Coming out on top to be in the final round are Watervliet and Marcellus. They’ve got about a week left to show Proos which has the most spirit.
