Lakeland Health is celebrating Doctor’s Day this Thursday. It’s a national day for doctors of all kinds to be thanked for their service. Lakeland Director of Physician Services Stephanie McNeil tells WSJM News they’ll be doing a few things for the docs.
“You’ll notice a banner hung on our parking garage, every physician receives a card, and we just really try to focus on the quality care that they provide throughout the system,” McNeil said.
McNeil notes Lakeland has about 450 doctors in its system, and they run the gamut from family practitioners to specialists to surgeons. McNeil notes they’re always recruiting more.
