It’s time once again for 97-5 Y-Country’s Stuff a Truck food drive. The week-long effort starts Monday, and it’ll have Y-Country staff broadcasting live from Roger’s Foodland in St. Joseph alongside a 23-foot truck, stuffing it with things people donate. Y-Country’s Matt Malone tells WSJM News it’s the 20th year for the drive.

“It’s been such a succeed each and every year, and we want to make this one even more successful,” Malone said. “The cool thing about this is it’s actually going to benefit and refill and restock the shelves of the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency. So, it’s a great cause and we’re just so proud.”

The Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency could use the help stuffing its shelves ahead of the winter and holidays. Last year, the drive stuffed the truck 11 times, and raised more than $10,000. Just stop by Roger’s Foodland 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday to give.
