Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is pushing party unity for Democrats ahead of the presidential election in November. He made four Michigan stops yesterday to campaign for Hillary Clinton, and says she now backs many of the proposals he pushed in his bid for the party’s nomination.

“She’s talking about making public colleges and universities tuition free for the middle class, raising the minimum wage to a living wage, pay equity for women, taking serious action to combat climate change,” Sander said.

He made stops in Ann Arbor, Dearborn, East Lansing and in Grand Rapids. Hillary Clinton will be coming to Detroit on Monday, fresh off the second debate to campaign in Detroit. The specific time and location has not yet been made public.
