If you travel Linco Road or Cleveland Avenue on the southern border of Lincoln Township, get ready for a new four-way stop at that intersection on Friday. The Berrien County Road Commission’s Michael Juengling tells us an increase in traffic accidents there has prompted the change.
“We hate to slow people down unnecessarily and make them stop, but for whatever reason, this intersection seems to have been a continuous problem,” says Juengling. He says the intersection did not meet the criteria for a four-way stop based on traffic volume, but it did when it comes to the number of accidents. Extra signage will be going up warning drivers of the change.
