Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear in Michigan next week. Details of her Wednesday visit are still being worked out, but Senator Debbie Stabenow says the first stop is in Birmingham, near Detroit, for a fundraiser.
“Talking about jobs and manufacturing, small businesses, innovation,” Stabenow said. “Where better to do that than in Michigan?”
The campaign is also working to schedule a rally for the same day, although no details have been revealed. Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, will speak to members of the Detroit Economic Club on Monday.
