Andrews University Plans Three Large Construction Projects

For the next couple years, the sound of construction will be heard around the campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs. This week, the Andrews Board of Trustees approved a finance and construction plan for three major building projects -- Buller Hall, Nethery Hall, and a new residence hall. The combined price of all three is 17 million dollars...and CSM Group, out of Kalamazoo, will be the construction manager. The university says that work on the new eight-point-six million dollar Buller Hall, along with a three-point-two million dollar renovation of the 70-year-old Nethery Hall, will result in a new Undergraduate Learning Center. Buller Hall is to house classroom space, a chapel, and academic lobbies...and it will be connected with Netherly Hall by an interior walkway. The third project will be another new residence hall for female students, and its cost has been set at five-point-eight million dollars. Work starts on the projects this spring.
