Fur Ball – Tails of the Arabian Nights is on February 25th at the Beach Haven Event Center. Tickets are $80 per person and includes live and silent auctions, gourmet dinner, floorshow and dancing. It is Al-Van’s largest fundraiser and is held every two years. Tickets are almost sold out so do not wait if you are interested in attending. I think we have about 16 tickets left. There are 8 people to a table.

Little Miss Skye is a 5-6 month old Lab mix with a wonderful personality. Her main purpose in life is to make you laugh and be as loyal as she can. Skye is in Foster Care and learning to be a puppy. She discovered the wonders of a dog bed and is beginning to show interest in toys. She does great with other dogs, in fact she prefers older dogs to the younger pups. As a typical lab loves people and children and does well with cats. Skye has done great at night in her crate with no accidents and will give a little whine at if she needs to go out, house training is going well also. We still haven't heard her bark yet and has shown no signs of aggression. Skye is doing great with verbal and hand commands and learns quick. She is truly a loyal and wonderful puppy. She had a rough start but with love and encouragement she will make you a loyal companion for years to come. Look at that face and those ears...who couldn't fall in love with Skye!
